Nature:
　　 Industrial acenaphthene，White or light yellow twill crystal. The melting point is 95℃, boiling point is 277.5℃, relative density is 1.054(99℃), refracting power is 1.6.48(40℃), it is hardly melted in water, dissolved in hot ether, hot benzene, toluene, glacial acetic acid, chloroform and petroleum ether, dissolved in alcohol a little, it is easy to burn.
Use:
　　 Industrial acenaphthene could be formed acenaphthene nitrate after nitrified; formed 1.8 formic acid two-naphthyl acetate anhydride and acenaphthene quinone which used to compose dye, polyester resin, polyeter fiber; formed acebaphthene alkene after dehydrogenation which could produce acenaphthene alkene resin and fluorescence dyestuff.

Storage and transportation:
　　 It is combustibles, put it at ventilate and cool place, the temperature is ≤30℃, packed with plastic bag or gunny-bag.
