Nature:
No color, oil shape, has the smell of naphthalene,
it will volatilize with vapor, it is easy to burn and
dissolve in ether and alcohol, and it could not dissolve
in water. The relative density is (20℃)1.025, the boiling
point is 245℃, the flash point is 82.2℃.
Use:
Methylnaphthalene is the main raw material of producing
dispersing agent; it could be used as hot carrier and
flux, surface-active agent, sulphur extractive agent.
It could produce plasticizer, fiber-coloring agent,
test the ideal fuels of alkane and 16 alkane.
Storage:
It is easy to burn when meet heat, fire and oxidant.
Store it at cool and ventilate warehouse, the temperature
is ≤30℃.
Transportation:
It is the dangerous thing, so transport it with vapor
tanker, fire tanker, bucket loading (200kg). |
